Water-based ink is made up of binders, pigments, additives and other substances composed of uniform slurry material. Binders provide the

There are two main types of ink binders:
Water diluent and water dispersive. The former can be used in a variety of resin types, such as maleic acid resin, shellac, modified maleic acid resin,Ulatan, water-soluble acrylic resin and water-based amino resin. Water-dispersed binders are obtained by polymerization of emulsified monomers in water. It is a two-phase system in which the oil phase is dispersed in the water phase in granular form. Although it cannot be dissolved by water,it can be diluted by water.

The solvent used：
Water - based ink solvent to be: (1) dissolved resin, give ink; (2) adjust the viscosity, give printing adaptability;（3）Adjust the drying speed. Water-based ink is also required to have non-toxic characteristics, so its solvent is mainly purified water and a small amount of alcohol, such as water, ethanol, butanol, isopropanol. These solvents can assist the water to enhance the ability of dissolving resin, improve the dispersibility of pigment, and accelerate penetration, inhibit foaming.
