Different molecular weights will change the adhesion performance. Therefore, the selection of PIB with appropriate molecular weight can make the stretch film have the best performance.

The viscosity of PE stretch wrapping film is positively correlated with the amount of PIB added. However, as the PIB participation exceeds 3%, the progress of the self-adhesiveness of the wrapping film becomes insignificant. If you continue to increase the amount of PIB added, the PIB will precipitate on the outer surface of the film and form a lump, resulting in uneven self-adhesiveness of the film, and even The film roll is difficult to open. In order to ensure the final performance of the stretch film, the amount of PIB added should be controlled between 1 and 3%.
PIB has an exudation process, and it usually takes about three days to wrap around the membrane surface to produce enough viscosity.
3. Effect of storage temperature of PE stretch wrapping film on viscosity
The migration speed of PIB is related to the storage temperature. As the temperature of the environment increases, the migration speed of PIB increases and the viscosity increases. Therefore, to reach the required viscosity, the stretch film should be stored at a higher temperature, and the required viscosity can be reached after one week. However, PIB will be precipitated in large quantities for long-term storage at temperatures above 30℃, which may cause the film roll head or paper core to come out. Therefore, after reaching the viscosity request, it should be placed in an environment of -15℃~40℃. Storage.
