The good viscosity of the PE stretch film can make the packaging film layer and the layer of the outer layer of the goods stick together, making the goods packaging stronger, and there are two main methods for enhancing the viscosity of the PE stretch film.

PE stretch wrapping film viscosity adjustment:

1. The first method is to add PIB or its masterbatch to the polymer.

2. The second method is to blend VLDPE, PIB is a translucent viscous liquid, directly add special equipment or mess up the equipment, generally use PIB masterbatch. There is a process for PIB to move out. Generally speaking, it takes about three days. In addition, it may be affected by temperature. When the temperature is high, the viscosity is strong. When the temperature is low, the viscosity is not high. The viscosity will also be greatly reduced.

Therefore, the PE stretch film is best stored in a certain temperature range, and the recommended temperature is between 15 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius. Although the viscosity of blended VLDPE is slightly worse, it does not have special requirements for equipment and is not controlled by time. 

Under the influence of temperature, the relative viscosity is higher when the temperature is higher than 30 degrees Celsius, and the viscosity is slightly worse when the temperature is lower than 15 degrees Celsius. However, the required viscosity can be achieved by adjusting the amount of LLDPE in the PE stretch film adhesive layer. This method is mostly used for three-layer co-extrusion of PE stretch film.
