General water-based inks have many good advantages, but CNOOC has some printing adaptability problems in the application of flexo and gravure printing. From this point of view, this restricts the application range of water-based inks. Flexographic water based Ink  does not have this problem. It has good physical and chemical properties of the ink layer, compatibility with flexographic plates, and printability of spot colors. At present, flexo water-based inks are mainly used in corrugated boxes, environmental protection bags, etc. Packaging printing, now with the replacement of flexographic technology and the improvement of water-based ink performance, the quality of printed items has been greatly improved.

Physical and chemical properties of the ink layer
The friction test of the flexographic water-based ink is carried out by using plane friction. The friction resistance of the water-based ink is judged by checking the change of the ink layer density of the printed matter. Through data monitoring, it is found that the friction resistance of the flexographic water-based ink is mainly the surface of the printing material. Flatness, the thickness of the ink layer, whether the surface of the ink layer has been light-treated and other factors.

In order to improve the friction resistance of flexographic water-based inks, a certain proportion of brain friction agent can be added to the ink to increase the proportion of the film-forming resin emulsion in the ink formulation, so that the ink layer on the surface of the printed matter has good friction resistance. One thing to pay special attention to is that the film-forming resin emulsion ratio in the ink formula must be tested for printing, otherwise it may cause quality problems such as printing color deviation and ink streaks.

For flexographic water-based inks in terms of skiing, such as alcohol resistance, light resistance, etc., suitable raw materials need to be selected, especially in terms of the chemical properties of the pigment, corresponding physical and chemical tests are required to select the corresponding raw materials.

In the flexo printing process, the graphic carrier is a solid photosensitive plate, so the compatibility between water-based inks and flexographic plates largely determines the stability of the printing quality during the flexo printing process, and the biggest problem with flexo water-based inks It is easy to cause blockage.
